A new worker walks a 3D container terminal, or takes the wheel, the crane or the radio, and makes the calls a first shift demands. Get one wrong and the sim replays what would have happened, then shows the rule.
Walk the yard in first person, or drive the tractor, run the RTG crane, signal a lift, inspect the yard, get out of a gas leak.
Three options fill the screen. One is right, two are what people do when they are late. Press A, B or C.
The camera cuts away and plays the accident in slow motion. At the controls, it is your own run, with your speed on screen.
Hold E to put on PPE or clip a harness. Hit SPACE the moment the driver waves. Then the shift report.
Start shiftTwo years earlier it was 298,137. At the ports, the accidents look like the ones in this sim: a box coming down, a vehicle and a person in the same lane.
Who it is for. The new checker, driver or lasher on day one, and the HSE officer who has to induct them. Their induction today is usually a slideshow and a signature; VR patrols exist, but only where there is a headset and a training room.
Why a replay. A 2024 meta-analysis of 52 studies found that immersive safety training beat traditional training on both knowledge and retention (Scorgie et al., Safety Science 171). ShiftReplay tests how much of that a browser can carry without the headset.
Walk the yard with WASD and mouse, or take the controls: tractor, RTG crane, signaller, inspector, gas leak. A beacon marks the next checkpoint.
Three options fill the screen. One is right, two are what people actually do when they are late. Press A, B or C.
Wrong call: the camera cuts to third person and plays the accident in slow motion. In the hands-on modes it replays your own run.
Hold E to put on PPE or clip a harness. Hit SPACE the moment the driver waves. Then the shift report.
A quiz tells you that you were wrong. A replay shows you the 25-tonne tractor, the 20 metres it needs to stop, and the three seconds you had. The regulation comes after the body, because that is the order in which it was written.

Gate PPE, the truck lane, the suspended load, the two-high stack, and whether you file the near-miss report.

Pre-start inspection on a warm machine, a checker in your blind spot, gusts at 14 m/s with a stack to build.

A gangway with no net, a stern line under 60 tonnes, and the fastest way to the top tier.

You drive, lift, signal, inspect and evacuate, and the sim grades what you actually did, not what you clicked.
15 km/h past the speed radar, a worker on the zebra crossing, a red light under the crane while a container comes down.

Lock all four corners before you lift, stop when a worker walks under the load, then set 30 t on a truck in the wind.

The operator cannot see the ground. You can. Your hand signals move the crane, and the all-stop is yours.

The yard is frozen at 07:42. Five things are wrong and one is a decoy. Whatever you miss plays out.

A reefer leaks ammonia. Read the wind, do not become the second casualty, pick the right muster point.

Molca, Immerse, SimLab and others do serious VR work for ports and energy. ShiftReplay is the version for everyone who does not get a headset.
